MUMBAI: International music sensation and rhyme singer Sean Paul Henriques aka Sean Paul is all set to rock Indian shores this year. The pop singer on his maiden tour in the country will perform across cities commencing from 1 November.
The singer will perform on some of his popular tracks and collaborative tracks like Get Busy, Gimme The Light, I’m Still in Love with You, Like Glue, We Be Burnin, Ever Blazin, Give It Up to Me, Baby Boy, Never Gonna Be The Same, So Fine, Temperature, Press it Up, She Want Me, Private Party, She Doesn’t Mind, Got 2 Luv U, Deport Them, Hold My Hand, Lately, Now That I’ve Got Your Love to name a few.
Confirming the news Sean Paul stated, “It’s your boy Sean and you heard it straight from me – India get ready for my live show. The wait is finally over and now for the first time ever, I’m excited to bring my live show to India. I can’t wait for my fans to join me where I’ll be performing all of your favorites and some new songs from my latest album. Watch this space for more to know where all I’m performing.”
The Indian edition of Sean Paul Live In Concert is being managed by Blue Note Entertainment, a company that specializes in big ticket film promotions, exhaustive artist management, prolific corporate events and destination weddings and is now foraying into the concert space for the very first time.
Speaking on the occasion Blue Note Entertainment operation director Prashant Kumar said, “India is a huge market for international artists and we aim to capitalize on this opportunity by delivering professionally managed concerts that appeal to the modern youth. A lot of artists talk about “staying on the grind,” but few work harder than Sean Paul. He has done much more than any other dancehall artist to bring the dedicated sound of Kingston to new audiences around the world. Moreover an artist like Sean Paul is much loved across the globe and after a research of over one year we decided to bring him down to India. We are working towards concerts in Dubai and Nepal apart from India for Sean Paul and have received stupendous response.”
The multi-faceted talent has been named as a pioneer of dancehall, reggae, R&B and raga.
