MUMBAI: As legendary singer Lata Mangeshkar completes 80 years on 28 September 2009, her fans will have something musical to look forward to.
On the occasion, music label Saregama is paying tribute to the legend by releasing the compilation album ’80 Glorious Years of Lata Mangeshkar: Safalta Ki Shikhar Par Kal Bhi … Aaj Bhi.’ The album is an elaborate 8 CD pack priced at Rs 1599 and includes chartbuster songs through her career from 40’s to 2000.
Additionally, the album will also contain Lataji’s rare photographs through the decades, apart from the photographs also contains a write-up personally written by Yash Chopra.
