MUMBAI: Renowned music director Sandeep Chowta who has hosted several popular concerts in India is back with another musical offering.
As part of the ‘Sandeep Chowta Project’, legendary American jazz guitarist John Abercrombie will perform a concert on 6 June at ST Andrew Auditorium in Bandra. Abercrombie will be accompanied by Gary Versace (guitar) and Adam Nussbaum (drums) at the concert, organized in association with Gibson Guitar.
Abercrombie has earlier performed with Billy Cobham, Jack De Johnette, Michael Brecker and Randy Brecker and recorded with the Manfred Eicher’s ECM label. In 1970 Abercrombie delivered his first notable recordings with the jazz-rock band ‘Dreams’.
