MUMBAI: Given the history between the two families, Salim Khan and Javed Akhtar — film credits related dispute — the families have stayed away from working with each other. But, looks like things are getting back to normalcy with Salman Khan and Javed Akhtar coming together for ‘Hanuman Da Damdaar’.
Interestingly, Salman made a playful dig at the old rivalry between his dad and Javed Akhtar through their film ‘Hanuman Da Damdaar’.
In the film, Salman plays Lord Hanuman and Javed Akthar is Valmiki. Knowing Salman, it’s not surprising to hear him slip an ‘innocent’ question to Javed Saab in the film. Sources claim that the film actually has Salman Khan a.k.a. Lord Hanuman asking Javed Akhtar a.k.a. Valmiki, “Aap bhi likhte hain ? Akeley a kisski partner ke saath?”
