MUMBAI: Youngsters being the main target, an anti-piracy track seemed to be an appropriate tool, according to anti-piracy crusader M M Satish.
Founder of one of a kind NGO, Antipiracy Worldwide to combat piracy, M M Satish states, “The music video is a subtle way of creating awareness among the youth about piracy. The lyrics of the songs will be penned by me and the musical duo Sajid-Wajid. The duo has been creating a lot of youth centric songs and can give a youth touch to the song.”
The NGO also plans to create a video of the song which would include celebrities supporting the cause. The video will then be aired on music channels like Channel [V], MTv among others. The single will be available for pay and download on the web space.
On the lines of Marathon, Antipiracy Worldwide would kick start a series of ‘Anti Pirathon’ supported by icons in different cities.
The NGO Anti piracy Worldwide has come with an innovative strategy to spread the word by printing anti-piracy merchandised t-shirts. These T-shirts designed by Delhi based fashion designer Varija Bajaj and are available at her outlets. T-shirts with ‘I hate fake’ and logo of Antipiracy Worldwide is an interesting way of spreading the message among the youngsters, believes Satish.
All the activity on the anti-piracy front is a pitch for the World Antipiracy awareness day planned by the NGO for the month of November. The NGO Anti piracy Worldwide is co-founded by M M Satish and Raj Malik who hails from satellite background being associated with ABS Asian Broadcast Service. The NGO is in the process of getting itself registered under the name- The Global IPR Foundation.
