MUMBAI: Big FM`s RJ Paro has been recognized as the “Best RJ of the Year” by Bangla Sangeet Prachar Samity at the Suthol Tele Cine award function held at Kolkata.The Suthol Tele Cine awards are television, radio and cine awards, currently in its seventh edition.Also felicitated in other categories were noted actress Rituparna Sengupta, playback singer Shreya Ghosal, and acclaimed film director Rituparno Ghosh.
Hailed as one of the most popular RJs, Paro has been so far hosting the Sunday BIG Chumuk show. She was adjudged the best RJ by people`s vote conducted by Bangla Sangeet Prachar Samity. She will now host the youth show Mast Ki Pathshala on Big 92.7 FM from 3 pm to 6 pm all weekdays with RJ Riddhi and together the duo will take the city`s youth on a rollercoaster ride.
Speaking about the achievement Big 92.7 FM Kolkata, Station Director, Bodhayan Roychaudhury said, “We thank the Bangla Sangeet Prachar Samity for recognizing RJ Paro for all her good work and are immensely proud of RJ Paro.”
