MUMBAI: Legendary actresses Waheeda Rehman, Helen and Asha Parekh are coming together with RJ Anmol for the very first time. In the history of radio, this is indeed a ground-breaking occurrence which will be On Air at 9pm tonight (2 September 2016) on Radio Nasha.
These three eminent actresses are joining together to celebrate their friend Sadhana’s 75th birthday which is today September 2. Sadhana Shivdasani, who was one of the most admired actresses of 60’s passed away on December 25, 2015 at Hinduja hospital.
While speaking about it, RJ Anmol passionately shared, ”This is happening for the first time ever in the saga of radio. I was with Radio Mirchi that time. Sadhana Ji gave me an exclusive interview after 35 years before she passed away just because she loved my voice and show ‘Purani Jeans’. Today, on her 75th birthday, I wanted to do something to pay tribute to the legendary late actress.”

Her friends, Waheeda Rehman, Helen and Asha Parekh who were also eminent actresses during 60s, are joining him this time as they also wanted to be a part of the show on their friend’s birthday.
RJ Anmol also shared some nostalgic moments about the legendary actresses which they will be sharing tonight on the show.
“Four of them along with Nanda Ji once went for a road trip to Lavasa and Helen Ji bought her first diamond during that time. Helen Ji will also get something today on my show for her friend’s birthday as they used to get each other gifts on their birthdays,” added Anmol.
