MUMBAI: BlackBerry parent company RIM (Research in Motion) has announced its new operating system 7.1 OS featuring FM radio for Curve model 9360 and 9380.
The new operating system was launched at the Consumer Electronics Show (CES) in Las Vegas.
The existing Curve 9360 and 9380 users can also update their operating system to 7.1OS. The new software activates FM chip, and includes new app allowing users to tune in to local FM stations.

BlackBerry 7.1 OS has also includes several upgrades to its BBM (BlackBerry Messenger version 6.1), Traffic and Travel apps. It has also incorporated a new feature called BlackBerry Tag.
