MUMBAI: Embracing spiritualism with poetry and music, renowned bollywood singers will perform at the nine day Srinathji Temple festival this year.
Commencing from 19 August, the annual event will feature performances by Kailash Kher, Sunidhi Chauhan, Kavita Seth, KK, Sunali and Roopkumar Rathod, Prince and Group and Indo-Pak mushaira with poets amongst others. It will also witness a recital of Morari Bapu’s Ramkatha every morning until its culmination on 28 August.
The fest was announced at an event held yesterday at Iskcon temple in Mumbai and present at the occasion were Gracy Singh, Kher, Seth, Mudasir Ali, Makarand Deshpande amongst others.
Paliwal said, “This is my humble tribute to my guru Morari Bapu.”
The Srinathji Temple fest will be held at the historic Nathdwara, Rajasthan where Lord Krishna is said to have lifted the Gowardhan parbat. The event brings over a lakh devotees to the location every year.
