MUMBAI: Making the most of India’s mad obsession with cricket, Red FM is reaching out to all die-hard fans of the sport through ‘Cricket Raj’ – a new segment that aims to bring alive the victory tales of India for listeners throughout this cricketing packed month in England.
The laugh-riot panel for this segment comprises Suresh Menon (Cricket Raja) and Sambhavna Seth (Cricket Rani) – the madcap mouthpieces. The duo will be heard pitching their favourites and battle it out post every match with their mean match reviews and score updates. That’s not all, the an hunt for a ‘Cricket RJ’ has also been thrown in for good measure.
On-air auditions will be held to find the ultimate cricket fans who will get to be Red FM’s Cricket Jockeys on-air. ‘Cricket Raj’is an open invitation to all cricket fanatics who want to have their opinions on batsmen, bowlers, field settings, coin toss and everything else.
