MUMBAI: On the occasion of the 20th anniversary of Kargil Vijay Diwas, RED FM paid homage with an exceptional episode of The Headphone Show, which was exclusively played for jawans at Fort William today at a commemoration event.
Along with presenting the personalized experience of remembering the sacred day with this tribute episode based on Kargil war, RJ Praveen marked this day with a memorable letter reading session. This was followed by a short musical performance by the band Paridhi who presented an act that hailed the heroic struggles of Indian army.
Speaking on the occasion, RED FM COO Nisha Narayanan, says, “It is a matter of pride for every Indian to celebrate the 20th year anniversary of Kargil Vijay Diwas. As we remember the exemplary valour and courage exhibited by our soldiers, it is our duty to pay respect to their sacrifices. While few lucky listeners got the feel of surreal army life first hand inside the Fort William, the rest would get to experience it on-air.
