MUMBAI: Swedish audio streaming and media services provider Spotify has elevated Rahul Balyan as head market strategy and operations for South Asia, Middle East and Africa (SAMEA).
Prior to this he was Spotify India music head since February 2021.
He was helping the platform to unlock the potential of human creativity by adding new talents to showcase their creative work to the world.Before joining Spotify, he was associated with FM Radio Network – Radio Mirchi for 14 years where he played multiple roles.

In his last designation, as chief digital officer, he was leading the digital transformation of Radio Mirchi from February 2019 to January 2021.
During his early days, he worked as Asian Paints senior manager marketing, international business and Coca-Cola area sales manager. He graduated as Engineer from Punjab University and did his management degree in IIM, Calcutta.
