Rahman collaborates with Canadian singer Raghav

MUMBAI: After collaborating with several national and international artistes, AR Rahman is once again joining hands with Indian origin Canadian singer Raghav.

Rahman, who contributed in composing for The Dark Knight Rises, was also thanked by internationally-renowned composer Hans Zimmer in the end credits of the recently released film. Earlier this month, Pop Queen Madonna also expressed her desire to work with Rahman.

Speaking about his collaboration with Raghav, Rahman tweeted, “Had fun working with @raghavworldwide. He is very talented and humorous. Wishing him all the best for his new album with @ultrarecords USA.”

Raghav will release his upcoming album ‘The Phoenix’ with Ultra Records and the latest single ‘Fire’ was released across the US and UK. The track penned by Raghav and produced by Jim Beanz of Timbaland Productions, has already been certified gold status in Canada. Timbaland Productions and producer Labrinth have also collaborated for the artiste’s upcoming album. Raghav is best known for his recently released 2005 single ‘Angel Eyes’ which peaked at number 7 in the UK.
