Radio City tops in Mumbai and Bengaluru for week 12

Radio City tops in Mumbai and Bengaluru for week 12

MUMBAI: Radio City over took Big FM in Mumbai with a market share of 18.4 per cent during the 12th week of 2015. As per the report, Radio City continued to rule in Bengaluru with a market share of 23 per cent, and was followed by Big FM with 21.6 per cent. Meanwhile, Radio Mirchi in Kolkata and Fever FM in Delhi held market shares of 20.1 and 18.6 per cent respectively.

In Delhi, Radio Mirchi and Radio City tied in second position, both registering a market share of 13 per cent and TARP of 1 per cent. This was followed by Big FM with a market share of 11.5 per cent and TARP of 0.9 per cent, while Red FM recorded a market share of 10.9 per cent. Fever FM shows ‘Evening Drive’ with Nitin, ‘Full on Punjabi’ with RJ Avinash and ‘Dilli ke Do Dabang’ with Manu and Abhilash were the top three shows in the city. They were followed by Big FM’s ‘Dilli Meri Jaan’ with RJ Deepak which maintained a TARP of 2.1 per cent. Radio Mirchi’s ‘5 to 9 with Dilli Ka Don Naved’ with RJ Naved and ‘Hi Delhi’ with RJ Rohit, were other shows that did well in the week.

Radio City held the top position in Mumbai last week, and was followed by Big FM with a market share of 18 per cent and TSL of 6.17. Radio Mirchi took the third spot in the city with a market share of 13.7 per cent and TSL of 4.2. Fever FM came next in fourth position, registering a market share of 13 per cent, and Red FM held the fourth spot with a market share of 10.9 per cent. In the financial capital, Big FM’s show ‘Suhana Safar’ with Anu Kapoor reported a TARP of 4.7 per cent (25+ years), followed by Radio City’s ‘Kal Bhi Aaj Bhi’ with RJ Gaurav. Other shows that did well were ‘Breakfast Show’ with RJ Siddharth, ‘Purani Jeans’ with RJ Sayema, ‘Kasa Kai Mumbai’ with RJ Archana and RJ Salil, ‘Love Guru’ with RJ Love Guru, ‘Hi Mumbai’ with Jeeturaj, ‘Good Morning Mumbai’ with RJ Malishka and ‘Evening Show’ with RJ Dilip.

In Bengaluru, Radio City was followed by Big FM with a market share of 21.6 per cent, TSL of 8.07 per cent and TARP of 2.5 per cent. Next in line were Radio Mirchi, Fever FM and Red FM with market shares of 16.8, 11.4 and 7.7 per cent, respectively. Radio City enjoyed the highest TSL compared to the other private radio stations in the city. Shows that did well were ‘Big Coffee’ with RJ Shruti, ‘City Mathu’ with RJ Pradeepa, ‘Hi Bengaluru’ with RJ Smitha, and ‘Love Guru’ with RJ Love Guru, among others.

Radio Mirchi topped in Kolkata with a market share of 20.1 per cent and registered a TSL of 4.37 and TARP of 1.6 per cent, followed by Big FM. Shows that did well were Radio Mirchi’s ‘Breakfast Show’ with RJ Mir, Big FM’ shows- ‘Breakfast Show’ with RJ Khas Koushik, ‘Saranagato’ with RJ Sumanta and Aamar FM’s show ‘Breakfast Show’ with RJ Shouvik and ‘Night Show’ with RJ Shoubhik.
