MUMBAI: Ashit Kukian has been promoted to the post of President, Sales at Radio City, as part of the organisation’s exercise of re-aligning the entire sales team.
Kukian has been with Radio City since 2005, when he joined the organisation, as National Head – Sales. He was currently holding charge as executive vice president and national sales head.
Praviin Belman, who was Senior Manager – Mumbai, has been promoted to General Manager and now will be in charge of Mumbai and Kolkata. He will be assisted by Jitendra Boricha of Retail business now heading the role as Deputy General Manager. The Corporate business will be handled by Ahmed Nazari. Ravi Thakur who was earlier playing the role of Senior Manager – Pune has become General Manager and within his new role he will be responsible for Pune, Nagpur and Rest of Maharashtra. Deepali Chavan has been promoted to Senior Manager, responsible for Pune –Corporate and Nagpur – Business, will continue to report to Ravi Thakur.

Sitaram Prabhu has been promoted to Deputy General Manager and will be heading Bangalore, Chennai and Coimbatore markets reporting into Satyanarayan Murthy.
Kukian’s mandate is to ensure maximisation across various verticals besides regular Free Commercial Time, Radio City Connect – a dedicated full spectrum activations cell providing end-to-end 360 degree brand marketing solutions along with monitoring the brand’s in-house Creative Client Solutions Cell and Planetradiocity.com, India’s most extensive and all-inclusive music portal. He will also work closely with his team to offer clients innovative brand solutions that would allow more effective use of radio as a medium. He would also focus on the outsourced business module like Friends FM-Kolkata, and Suno lemon, Gwalior. Besides this his focus will also be on identifying newer revenue opportunities for the group.
