MUMBAI: Radio City Bangalore has announced the launch of ‘Haadu Heli Lakshantra Gelli’ (Name the song, wins lakhs), a game show starting from 21 July. The show will be on air for three weeks for the Bangalore audience.
The contest will be conducted during ‘Whatte Fun Mornings’ from 7 – 11 am with RJs Kiran and Varsha and will reward listeners for naming the exact sequence of songs played in a specific hour.The contest would be made more exciting where, the participants can win cash with every correct song, the amount adds up till the last song. Listeners have to register through SMS, Radio City RJs will randomly choose a lucky participant, who will then be on air to play the contest.
Radio City executive VP and national head – programming and marketing Rana Barua said, “There are so many contests on radio and television today, each with its own set of confusing rules and processes. While they may make the listener think twice even if he wants to participate, they certainly impact his chances of winning. We used this insight to create ‘Haadu Helli Lakshantra Gelli’ on Bengalurina’s Radio City which makes winning – as simple as it gets.”
