MUMBAI: Music legend Sukhwinder Singh, who recently shot for the upcoming episode of Dil Hai Hindustani 2, was amused with the kind of talent, he witnessed there. Sukhwinder was not only present to encourage the contestants but also left everyone spellbound, with his fabulous performance, on the music reality show.
One of the key highlights of this episode were Punjabi boys, Sanjeev and Robin, who enchanted Singh with their pure unadulterated voice. Hailing from his homeland, itself, Sanjeev and Robin made the most of the chance they got, to sing with the renowned singer. Also, the Chaiyya Chaiyya singer was so impressed that he performed with them, not once, but twice and also expressed his wish to do something in Punjab with them.
Speaking about the episode, Sukhwinder revealed, “Fresh talent should always be appreciated and that is something I found on Dil Hai Hindustani 2, which took my heart. Sanjeev and Robin have a very pure voice that is missing in songs these days. Such kind of pure and unadulterated singing is very uncommon now-a-days. People generally prefer to auto-tune, which spoils the originality.”
