MUMBAI: After receiving numerous accolades and appreciation, Korean YouTube sensation Psy (aka Park Jae-sang) has added two more trophies to its list. The pop star won major awards for ‘Gangnam Style’ at the 10th edition of the Korean Music Awards 2013.
The singer bagged the ‘Song of the Year’ and ‘Musician of the Year’ trophies, while 3rd Line Butterfly’s ‘Dreamtalk’ picked up the album of the year award.
Other special awards were also conferred to 404 band (Rookie of the Year), Kim Min Ki (Achievement Award) and Jara Island International Jazz Festival (Conference Committee Special Award), and Jay Park, Lena Park and Busker Busker each won a ‘Netizen’s Choice’ award. The ceremony was hosted by Clazziquai member Horan.

The ‘Korean Music Awards’ was first held in 2004, and it acknowledges the achievements made by music artists in the past year. The winners are decided by a panel of judges consisting of music critics, music radio PDs and other professionals within the industry.
