MUMBAI: An hour long show ‘Best of Priyanka Chopra’ on 9XM will feature singer-actress Priyanka Chopra promoting her single ‘Exotic’ and describing her life’s journey. 9XM developed this show Best Of Priyanka Chopra’ with an aim to celebrate the success of the multi talented artist and to provide innovative content to theirviewers. This one hour show will also air the best music from Priyanka’s popular movies and from her international hits.
9X Media Group senior VP and content head Amar Tidke told Radioandmusic.com, “Priyanka Chopra is our Buzzworthy artist of the month. We were working closely with her and Universal music on breaking the track ‘Exoctic’ exclusively on our channels, we came up with various innovations, and this idea was part of that plan. We presented the plan to PC, she loved the idea, and we went ahead with it.” Best of Priyanka will showcase the journey of Chopra from her Ms. India and Ms. World days to being the most sought after actor in Bollywood and to being an international pop artist.
Universal Music India VP- marketing Sunil D’Sa said, “Our campaign has just reached mid-way but the response we received for the single have been tremendous. The response has been phenomenal compared to her first single. We are having many brand association for the same. With 9X media, we are aware that they are number one in music channels and strongly believe that they would do justice with our content.” Currently, her single is topping charts of iTunes and Nokia music store.
This special show will be aired on 2nd August at 7 pm. From 3 August, the actress will be seen with Bade-Chote the Bakwaas ke Badshah’s of 9XM in their popular show Bakwaas Bandh Kar. Priyanka will be teaching 9XM’s animated character Bheegi Billi the dance steps of Exotic her latest super hit single.
