MUMBAI: Actor-singer Priyanka Chopra, Monica Dogra of Shaa’ir and Func fame, and three other Indian artists have been nominated by VH1 at the 2015 Europe Music Awards under the Best India Act category, which falls under the worldwide act category.The other Indian acts to be nominated for the award are Indus Creed, Your Chin and The Ska Vengers.
The worldwide act is a global category where the best talent is picked from across continents.Fans decide the best winning talent from among all the nominees through votes, read a statement.
Fans can vote for their favourite act on MTV EMA’s website and for social media voting, they must tweet/post both #MTVEMA #EmasOnVh1 AND #Nominate(artist name) for their vote to be counted.
