MUMBAI: Big FM, the FM radio brand of Reliance Broadcast Network (RBNL), had the opportunity to interview the newly elected President of India Pranab Mukherjee.
The radio station interviewed him late last evening and it was aired today morning on Big FM’s breakfast show across the country. The exclusive interview will be broadcasted on the evening drive-time show as well.
In his first radio interview after being elected as President, Mukherjee said, “I have always been an active part of the Congress Party. My father was associated with the Congress Party for numerous years, having been born amidst this culture, followings and regulations of the Party have been imbibed in me. The designation of President is one that comes with a lot of responsibility. From Rajendra Prasad to Pratibha Patil, very proficient people have been on this seat and have created a roadmap hence the next president would not find it difficult to walk the road ahead.”
The 13th President who took his oath this morning, spoke about his career, strategy, agenda, aim for the welfare of the country and his responsibilities after becoming President of India. The interview also featured Mukherjee talking about the significance of Durga Puja in his life, the long running family tradition of celebrating it and his keen interest in Ravindra Sangeet.
