MUMBAI: Rapper, singer and newly turned producer Pratika will be releasing her new single ‘Nothing Here’ on Thursday, 24th February 2022. The track is produced by Mumbai hip hop artist Tienas.
Nothing Here calls out troublemakers, and people who intend to harm others emotionally through acts against them. The song asks gossip mongers to walk away because there’s never any good in intending harm, or spreading half-hearted and false information about someone. Pratika’s rap is laid over a modern trap-sounding beat, and is heavy on metaphors and puns.
Pratika’s last release was her debut music production on all-female Indian hip hop collective Wild Wild Women’s single ‘Game Flip’, which was released on 11th February 2022. She is also working on a few exciting music projects that will fruition over the next few months! She also expects to release a bigger body of work in the form of an EP or album later this year.
