MUMBAI: Lyricist Prasoon Joshi for the very first time has composed a song for Prakash Jha’s next film Aarakshan, with the support of ace singer and music director Shankar Mahadevan.
On this occasion Prasoon Joshi said, “‘Kaun Si Dor’ is a wonderful song. The thought was to center it on a philosophical level but in a common man’s understanding. Shankar was graceful enough to keep this as part of the album. Kaun si Dor comes at a poignant juncture in the film and I am looking forward to the music of this film.”

Shankar Ehsaan Loy is the music director of the movie, while Prasoon Joshi has penned four songs and his composition is sung by classical vocalist Pandit Chunnual Misra.
The movie features Amitabh Bachchan, Saif Ali Khan, Manoj Bajpayee and Deepika Padukone and will be released in August 2011.
