MUMBAI: The legendary psychedelic band Pink Floyd is unveiling unrelease songs with the remastered versions of their 14 albums. The archived recordings will be release under the banner ‘Why Pink Floyd…?’ across all formats CDs, DVD, Blu-ray discs, Super Audio CDs, and also on various digital formats and iPhone Applications from 26th September 2011.
The group will also release the enhance version of their classic albums The Dark Side of the Moon, Wish You Were Here and The Wall on a six disc box set. The enhance version will include alternate takes, unreleased tracks, restored live concert screen films and a live recording of the band’s performances.
Roger Faxon, a spokesperson for the Pink Floyd’s record company, EMI said, “We have worked together for more than a year on this program which incorporates all the elements that have made Pink Floyd one of the most inspiring forces in modern music.
