MUMBAI: Percept Live, creators of Sunburn, Asia’s biggest electronic dance music festival, unveiled ‘Sunburn Home Festival’, a Virtual 2 Day Mega Music Festival presenting the biggest Global Music Artists, After Hours and a whole host of exciting Virtual Entertainment Experiences. The much awaited premier Fest is scheduled from 11th – 12th July 2020 and the electrifying line-up for the premiere show includes some of the biggest names in the global music industry including Vini Vici, MATTN, Bassjackers and Ummet Ozcan.
India’s first Virtual Mega Music Festival – ‘Sunburn Home Festival’ will be a Ticketed Live Stream 2-day weekend event offering a 360-degree virtual feel of an on-ground Sunburn Festival inclusive of a massive Stage, SFX, vibrant Visuals, LED effects and state-of-the-art AV streamed into the safety and comfort of your home. The 2 day Festival will include over 12 hours of foot-tapping music, ‘After Hours’ Parties, interactive dialogues between Artists and fans, and loads of on-the-spot surprises for guests. Headliners for the premiere ‘Sunburn Home Festival’ include global music icons Vini Vici, MATTN, Bassjackers and Ummet Ozcan. Support Acts comprise Teri Miko, Siana Catherine, Progressive Brothers and Sartek, while high octane artists ANKYTRIXX, Arsh, Bullzeye and SEQU3L will grace the After Hours Solaris shows.
The highlight of the Virtual Event is the incorporation of Extended Reality (XR) Technology, which will offer a holistic, Mixed Reality environment by virtually combining the Sunburn Festival environment and human-machine interaction to generate a new form of reality for the guest. XR Technology offers a fusion of ubiquitous sensor networks and shared online virtual worlds through a broad spectrum of hardware and software, including sensory interfaces, applications and infrastructures that enable content creation for Virtual Reality (VR) and Mixed Reality (MR). Through the incorporation of this elevated new age XR Technology, Percept will create a new form of Event reality by bringing digital objects into the viewer’s physical world and concurrently transfer physical world objects into the digital world.
