MUMBAI: Singer/composer Payal Dev whose known for her hit tracks like The Jawaani Song, contribution for Bajirao Mastaani recently sung and composed song Bahot Roye.
“The song is a heartfelt song. Personally, I enjoy composing heartbreaking numbers. After Tum Hi Aana, Kyon and now Bahut Roye, this song is very closer to my heart as I was thinking about working on it for a while, and finally we got the chance to do it. This song is a dedication to my dad,” expressed Payal.

Payal further mentioned that it was amazing to have tv actors Ashnoor Kaur and Sunny Chopra as the face of this song video and that they did a fantastic job. “Basically, we worked on this track a while back and shot the song recently in Dubai with proper shooting protection and shooting rules. I composed the melody of the song couple of months. Once that was ready, Surjit Khairhwala added the lyrics and Aditya Dev worked on the production,” said Payal.
In talks about her upcoming projects, Payal has many collaborations and projects in her bucket list.
“Different genres of songs on your way,” said Payal while signing off.
