MUMBAI: The’ Chahu Main Ya Na’ singer, Palak Muchhal has lent her vocals for Aashiqui 2 once again but in Telugu version. The 22 year old songstress is excited to be a part of the new project.
“I am very excited to be a part of Aashiqui 2 once again. The music is the same, only the lyrics are different. The makers wanted to retain the original singers and thus I dubbed the songs, ‘Meri Aashiqui’ and ‘Chahun Main Ya Na’, said Muchhal, who can sing in 17 languages.
Recently, the singer dubbed six to seven songs in Kannada for a few films. “I sing songs in various languages on stage during my gigs too, including Kannada and Tamil. Before I started recording in Kannada I thought I would be done with the recording in an hour or so. But I took three hours, all thanks to the difficult words and pronunciations,” explained Muchhal. She also revealed that she finds Telugu easier than Kannada.
