NEW DELHI: The release of a music album turned into a concert as its main lead and renowned singer Harbhajan Maan enthralled those present by singing ‘Mere Vich Teri’ – a duet with Harshdeep, ‘Chup Karja’ a song based on the theme of friendship, and a devotional single ‘Aad Sach Jugaad Sach’..
The occasion was the release of the songs of the Punjabi film ‘Saadey CM Saheb 0 Shoshaa’ produced by Unisys Infosolutions Saga Music. The Punjabi language film will be released simultaneously in Hindi as well on 27 May 2016.
Unisys Infosolutions – Saga Music MD Sumeet Singh said, “While most of the music launches of Punjabi films have been taking place in Punjab’s capital Chandigarh, we chose Gurgaon for launching the movie’s music as the idea is to create a buzz at the national level by doing the launch in NCR for a Punjabi movie, which has not happened earlier. After all the film is also being released in Hindi.”

The music launch also saw other soul stirring performances by Sufi singer Harshdeep Kaur who has sung ‘Mere Vich Teri’, a romantic song of ‘Saadey CM Saab’ with Harbhajan Mann.
Mann said, “I am sure that the six songs in the movie will all be runaway hits, some have already received tremendous response after being launched on digital and social media. One song is better than the other. Stalwarts like Ustad Rahat Fateh Ali Khan have sung for ‘Saadey CM Saab’, the title track ‘Saadey CM Saab’ is in the voice of the famous Daler Mehndi and we have Bollywood playback Madhushree Bhattacharya too giving her voice for a song – ‘Sajna’ opposite Ustad Rahat Fateh Ali Khan. ”
The song ‘Sheran Da Raaj’ is picturised on the villain in the film, Dev Singh Gill, who was also the anti-hero in South Indian blockbusters like ‘Magadheera’ and ‘Lingaa’.
Director Vipin Prashar said, “’Saadey CM Saab’s Punjabi version will make waves in Punjab ,other north Indian states and in International territories too, there is universal appeal in the movie as it gives a very deep message while entertaining thoroughly. As far as the music is concerned, it will be etched in the listener’s memory for a long time to come.”
The film’s lyrics have been penned by Babu Singh Mann and Pakistani lyricist and poet S M Sadiq while the music has been directed by Avishek Majumdar, Rishi- Siddharth, and Goldkartz..
