MUMBAI: The Independence Rock victory lap witnessed the members of the winning Silver showcasing their repertoire at Hard Rock Caf?© on Tuesday.
Silver played an all original set and the crowd favorites Wine & Women and Funkie Junkie. However, it was the Mumbai league winners Black who played the longest set.
Last month, over 35, 000 rock lovers attended the ‘Airtel Independence Rock XXIII’, E-18, CEO, Farhad K Wadia says, “It’s been 23 years since Independence Rock was conceived and it is overwhelming to see the enthusiasm & fervor increasingly growing by each year. We work towards showcasing the best of the rock talents and hope to see Silver creating the same impact as all other previous winners of I-Rock”.
With the rock scene restoring its past glory, bands are concentrating on creating and establishing their unique sound. At last, some good signs Rock n’ Roll!
