MUMBAI: The New York Festivals Radio Program & Promotion Awards have announced its call for entries for 2012. The deadline for the entries is 19 March, 2012.
This year the awards have included new categories like Program Open, Best Regularly Scheduled Sports Program, Best Sports Special, Sports & Recreation, Environment & Ecology and Best Student Documentary. On-air station contests are now eligible in the Special Event category. The Podcast group includes two new categories: Sports & Recreation and Culture & The Arts.

In 2011 Fever 104 FM and 92.7 Big FM were the big winners from India with two Gold, two Silver and three Bronze metals. This year the awards will be held on 18 June at Manhattan Penthouse in New York City.
