MUMBAI: ‘The Stage 2’ grand premiere starts on 17 September 2016. Presented by Renault India and powered by Gionee India, ‘The Stage 2’ will be on air on this Sat and Sun at 1 PM only on Colors Infinity.
‘The Stage Season 2’ has seen participation from all across the country for the title of the winner of India’s only all English singing talent hunt on television.
Firstly, what caught everyone’s eye is the participation that was seen from North East region of India. It is not a hidden truth that North East India is rich in its musical heritage and has been a cradle of modern and western culture in India. Radioandmusic got few names that ‘The Stage Season 2’ saw from the province. Abhishek Gurung, Perfectly Suiting, Jameer Kharkongor, Oinam Johnson, and Lalrinfeli Hauhnar came for the auditions.

The auditions were open on the show’s digital platforms initially. Contestants were later called for on-ground auditions in three cities- Delhi, Bangalore and Mumbai. The on-ground auditions witnessed contestants travelling from various other cities to try their luck in front of the judges Monica Dogra, Vishal Dadlani, Ehsaan Noorani, and Devraj Sanyal.
