MUMBAI: Nine FM paid a tribute to nobel laureate Rabindranath Tagore on his 151st birth anniversary by inviting rabindra sangeet singer â€?Bula Bandhopadhyay’ and acclaimed poet and professor â€?Samar Chakraborty’ to the studio.
Bula Bandhopadhyay performed live for the listeners and also expressed her love for Tagore’s poetry and Samar Chakraborty shared Tagore’s love for North Bengal and his work.
Listeners were invited to share their favourite work from Tagore’s repertoire and the best recitations were awarded by Nine FM.
