MUMBAI: For the second time in less than a week, Justin Bieber has found himself in hot water after another video of him using the N-word has surfaced. The video has reportedly been obtained by British tabloid, The Sun. In his most recent racist jibe, the pop superstar is heard joking and singing about joining the Ku Klux Klan, a white supremacist group.
In the newly surfaced video which is less than a minute, the Canadian crooner is heard singing one of his older tracks ‘One Less Lonely Girl’, in which he allegedly changes the lyrics to ‘one less lonely n*****’. Reports state that a female companion can be heard laughing in the background in the video as well.
The video is said to be a clip from the same video that was made public last week. In the previous video the ‘Baby’ singer is heard telling a joke about black people and chainsaw, while also using the racial slur. Although it was released last week, the video is said to be a few years old, when Bieber was 15.
An inside source told the tabloid, “Unfortunately this is the devastating reality of how Justin has behaved and reveals his attitude toward such a deeply emotive subject. People need to see this. Normal kids in society do not make these kind of jokes. He is protected by a network of staff, but the camera doesn’t lie. This is the real Justin.”
Following the emergence of the first video, the 20 year old singer issued an apology on Sunday in which he said, “Five years ago I made a reckless and immature mistake and I’m grateful to those close to me who helped me learn those lessons as a young man. Once again, I’m sorry.”
While some of his fans have condemned the language he used, a number of African-American celebrities have defended him.
So far there has been no comment from the singer’s camp on the latest video.
