MUMBAI: Neeti Mohan, who rose to fame with songs like Ishq Wala Love, Kheech Meri Photo, Socha Hai and many others, has recently released her new song Kithe Reh Gaya, a fun pre-wedding song.
“We wanted people to have a good feel about the song. It showcases something light hearted that happens to every girl that sweet when you wait for your beloved and this has just come really well through the song,” says Neeti Mohan who has sung and featured in it too.

The song has been directed by Robby Singh, “The song has been shot at Patiala as he too lives there and it was amazing to go there and shoot. It was a good experience shooting the track while we had these Parathas along with Makhan and were having our Instagram stories on it.
Music has been rendered by Abhijit Vaghani. When we asked Neeti Mohan about his collaboration with him, she said, “Our friendship goes way back, maybe 2003. We both are comfortable in each other’s comfort zone. If he wants me to sing in a certain way then he knows that he can get that out of me and sing for me also. It’s like a family and the best buddies’ type.”
“Kithe Reh Gaya is an old folk song by Noor-E-Jahan. Shivam from T-Series called me and said, ‘shall we do a newer version of it’. He was very excited and everybody came on board and did a fabulous job. I like the tune as it is very interesting and just woven really well, which everyone can hum it. So, yes dubbing was fun and everybody can enjoy it. It’s very expressive and we always make sure that your songs are expressive and people understand the song.
Well, Neeti Mohan has a list of projects lined up as she revealed, “We are gearing for T-Series Mixtape Season 2, which we will start doing from March onwards and then some more film songs, gigs. I also have a project where I will be seen on Television,” told Mohan.
Meanwhile, Neeti’s this song relates to her real-life scenario as she will be soon marrying beau Nihar Pandya on 14 February on the occasion of Valentine’s Day.
