MUMBAI: NASA has launched a custom-produced Internet music radio station â€?Third Rock: America’s Space Station’ which aims to spread the space exploration and other studies amongst its listeners.
The new radio station will broadcast new rock, indie and alternative music and can be accessed from NASA’s official home page. The radio station will also be available through NASA iPhone and Droid mobile applications. The station is being developed and operated at no cost to the government through a space act agreement.

Third Rock will also help partner companies to fill high-tech job openings in the engineering, science and IT fields. The station will be available online in the future at the radio tab of Apple’s iTunes and other sites. NASA has collaborated with Houston-based RFC Media to launch the station.
