MUMBAI: Rapper Naezy aka Naved Shaikh, who inspired the Bollywood’s blockbuster film, Gully Boy graced the grand premiere of the show, Dance Deewane.
Naezy not only appreciated contestants for their best dance performances, but also danced with director Shashank Khaitan on Mere Gully Mein. Apart from the audience, judges Madhuri Dixit Nene and Tushar Kalia.
Naezy is India’s number one rap/hip-hop artist of today. He introduced multi-syllabic rhyming and is known for using local slang in his lyrics, telling stories about everyday life from the area he grew up in.
