MUMBAI: Synergy Media’s My FM has planned new weekend programmes for all 17 stations in seven states. The new show line up Shaniwar-Moneywar, Ek Din Ka RJ, Chhatha Tatwa and Premdev, shows targeted at youth and focused on entertainment and information.
On Saturday mornings, listeners will be treated to â€?Weekend Timepass’, that features film reviews, tips on health and fitness and updates on latest gizmos.
Shaniwar-Moneywar is a contest based program which will be played on air with the listeners on Saturdays. It carries a monetary reward for the winner. Another interesting activity would be a fun show â€?Ek Din Ka RJ’. This is a contest which shall run through the week and the winner shall get an opportunity to co-host a radio show on My FM along with the RJ. On Saturday evening the radio station will play top 30 songs for its listeners.

On Sundays, the station will treat its listeners with readymade solutions of Applied Astrology, Vaastu Shastra, Feng Shui and Tarot in the program christened â€?Chhatha Tatwa’. Another program being introduced by the station is â€?Premdev’ which shall try to relieve listeners of their relationship hiccups.
The station has recently rebranded itself with a new campaign – ‘Jiyo Dil Se!’, that targets youth and plans to deepen the bond with its listeners with a slew of youthful promos, segments and jingles.
The new theme campaign is tagged Tension Naa Lene kaa…Naa Dene kaa.Jiyo Dil Se!, derived from its earlier tagline – ‘Dil Se’. The station has also given itself a new logo.
According to My FM Synergy Media COO Harrish M Bhatia, With the onset of a new work culture, weekends have become not only precious for the professionals and the students alike but the listeners also want to relax and listen to light music and lighter programming which include the pun and fun. Keeping this fact in mind My FM’s new weekend program shall now contain a lot of humour and entertainment….
