MUMBAI: MusicDNA Pte Ltd has launched Asia’s first-ever peer driven academy ‘AAMAS’ to honour excellence in arts and science of music, and to foster collaboration between all sectors of the music industry across Asia.
Headquartered in Singapore, ‘Asia Academy of Music Arts & Sciences’ will represent students across India, Australia, China, Hong Kong, Indonesia, Japan, Macau, Malaysia, New Zealand, Philippines, Singapore, South Korea, Thailand, Taiwan and Vietnam.
AAMAS will create a platform for regional and global industry players to network and explore business opportunities in a collaborative environment with strong connectivity to the region.
The Media Development Authority of Singapore (MDA) and Singapore Economic Development Board (EDB) have supported the academy in Singapore, as a springboard to the music industry in Asia.
