Sony Music also launched Jagjit Singh’s unheard and unreleased eight original compositions through ‘The Master and His Magic’ at the event.

Speaking about the album, Sony Music Entertainment, India and Middle East President Shridhar Subramaniam said, “We are honoured to be a part of this album which is a rare collection of his unreleased recordings. We have had a close relationship with the family and while releasing this album along with Mrs Chitra Singh, we feel his blessings and there can be nothing more encouraging than this. On the occasion of his first death anniversary, we believe that the event hosted by Chitra Ji was an appropriate tribute to the legend and will help us relive the music that he has created over the years.”

The tribute concert was curated by Chitra Singh in association with Wizcraft International Entertainment. Commenting on the concert Singh stated, ““The Master and His Magic’ is a tribute to Jagjitji and a gift to millions of his fans. I am sure that through these unreleased original compositions his legacy will live on and his fans will relive his music. This album celebrates the history created by the legend.”
