MUMBAI: Seeking blessings for their upcoming film â€?Rockstar’, Mohit Chauhan and Ranbir Kapoor performed a qawwali as a special music tribute at Hazrat Nizamuddin Dargah in Delhi.
The duo was accompanied by director Imtiaz Ali and the movie producer Hiren Gandhi of Shree Ashtavinayak films. The team joined Qawwals of the Dargah to celebrate the conclusion of the popular four-day fest â€?Urs of Hazrat Amir Khusro’ held every year. Hazrat Nizamuddin Dargah is a tomb of Amir Khusro – noted musician, scholar and poet, also known as â€?father of qawwali’.
Rockstar composed by AR Rahman is slated to release on 11 November.
