MUMBAI: King of Pop Michael Jackson is still alive in the hearts of million and they proved it yet another time by voting for him in the MTV Video Music Award.
MTV released a poll result on the top moments selected by music lovers spanning for nearly three decades, and Jackson singled out for most iconic and best pop performances for a medley of songs he sang in 1995.

Jacksonâ€?s â€?The Way You Make Me Feel’, â€?Scream’, â€?Beat It’ and â€?Smooth Criminal’ picked up 57 percent of the vote for most iconic performance, beating the likes of Madonna with â€?Like a Virgin’ in 1984 and Lady Gaga’s â€?Paparazzi’ from 2009.
The singer, who died in June 2009, also got the nod for best pop performance with the same medley, again topping artistes including Britney Spears, Justin Bieber, TLC and his own sister, Janet Jackson.
Michael Jackson would have turned 53 years old today 29th August.
