MUMBAI: Singer-actor Himesh Reshammiya and his wife Sonia Kapoor recently gave fans a candid glimpse into their personal life during an episode of The Sonia Kapoor Show. The conversation took a hilarious turn when Sonia teasingly exposed Himesh’s quirky obsession with himself — especially his habit of spending hours getting ready.
While discussing his career, Sonia couldn’t resist poking fun at Himesh’s fondness for the mirror. She joked, “What is your favourite thing about yourself? Apart from the fact that you like looking at yourself for four hours in the bathroom.”
Himesh, taking the teasing in stride, responded with a witty remark, “What are you saying? Tumhe apne show ki TRP leni hai toh tum mere naam pe le rahi ho (You want TRP for your show, so you’re using my name).”

Sonia revealed that Himesh often wakes up as early as 3 AM to get ready for a 9 AM flight, just so he has enough time to perfect his look without feeling rushed. Teasing him further, she quipped, “You do that so you can admire yourself in the mirror for two hours.”
The couple, who tied the knot in 2018 after Himesh’s divorce from his first wife Komal, clearly share a fun and playful bond, which was on full display during the podcast episode.

On the work front, Himesh was last seen in Badass Ravikumar, which hit theatres on February 7. Despite its star-studded cast — including Kriti Kulhari, Prabhu Deva, Simona J, Saurabh Sachdeva, Sanjay Mishra, and Johnny Lever — the musical action film underperformed at the box office. Produced by Himesh Reshammiya Melodies, the movie is a spin-off of the 2014 film The Xposé and serves as the second instalment in The Xposé Universe.
