MUMBAI: Radio Mirchi has used the parameter it resisted with much force till recently to stake claim to the top spot in Delhi.
Quoting RAM data, the station says that Radio Mirchi’s lead over the nearest competition in the private FM sector continues by 150 per cent with an all time TARP of 2.5. It has also garnered 29 per cent of the total market shares in TARP, says the station.
Radio Mirchi’s morning drive time show Hi Delhi has been voted by listeners as the most favoured show, with a TARP of 4.4 in RAM week 44, scoring a lead of almost 160 per cent over the nearest private FM competition. Sunset Samosa has also become the most popular evening show with an all time high TARP of 3.8 in week 44 clocking a lead of 192 per cent over the nearest private FM competition, says a release. Total Filmy done by RJ Stutee has garnered 2.6 TARP and so also is the case with Khoobsurat done by RJ Safia with a TARP of 3 in Week 44.
Mirchi has got the great degree of stickiness on an overall basis and also during the time band of 7 am – 10 pm with great TSL, the station says. Recent on-air specials like Help Delhi to Help Delhi, Dilli ke Ram and Rawan and Giftawali have also helped Radio Mirchi to beat the competition and remain on the top, adds the release
