MUMBAI: Radio Mirchi’s website, www.radiomirchi.com has been adjudged the most popular Radio and TV website of 2008 in the recent survey conducted by Metrix Labs and AC Nielsen.
Organized by Metrix Labs and AC Nielsen since 2004, the Website of the year 2008 awards aim to capture the framework and user understanding that the site has embodied in its design, deployment of technology and content.
The ‘Website of the year 2008’ awards had invited polls from internet users across India to vote for their favourite website on the parameters of content, navigation and design. The results of the poll indicated that over 1.5 million internet users voted for www.radiomirchi.com and that the portal has scored the highest average with users, says the company. While the Mirchi portal wins in the ‘popular’ category, the ‘Best TV and Radio site’ award has been given to Orissatv.com. Last year, both the ‘best’ and ‘popular’ honours had gone to a site called CrazeFM.com, according to the Metrixlab site.
