MUMBAI: After wowing audiences with their last track, “Maangi Duaein,” celebrated composer duo Salim-Sulaiman are out with their newest single, “Beech Raaste.” The groovy dance number has been sung by pop sensations Armaan Malik and Nikhita Gandhi. A song for those who make their own rules, “Beech Raaste” is a fun and fearless amble into the unknown. Nikhita and Armaan star as Ada and Ady, Memoji versions of themselves, in the animated music video which follows the duo escaping into the night, leaving a gorgeous sunset in their wake.
Composed by Salim-Sulaiman, “Beech Raaste” is the second release under their new record label Merchant Records in partnership with modern media firm Qyuki. Floating on a bed of evocative synth and silky electronic beats, the track is an anthem for brave souls blazing their own path. Penned by lyricist Niranjan Iyengar, the message of “Beech Raaste” is only elevated by the dreamy vocals of Malik and Gandhi, who belt unbridled about cresting the unexpected and making their own rules, while having fun along the way.
