MUMBAI: Singer Tulsi Kumar, who recently featured on the latest episode of popular digital music show, T-Series Mixtape Season 2, along with singer Benny Dayal, talks about how doing mashups is challenging.
Tulsi, who has taken the music up by quite a few notches, shares, “Mashups require double effort since you want to improvise on songs that are already perfect. Doing this was the challenge and the most fun part at the same time.”

Besides, on her debut collaboration with Benny Dayal, Kumar adds, “It was a pleasure to collaborate with Benny. I couldn’t have asked for a better counterpart. We had a great time performing to this melodious Mixtape created by Abhijit Vaghani.”
Meanwhile, the duo’s medley of Sanam Re from the Bollywood film Sanam Re and Phir Mohabbat from Murder 2, has garnered over five million views on YouTube. Adding their own signature styles to the popular numbers, both Tulsi and Benny have brought in a freshness that is sure to mesmerize listeners.
