MUMBAI: Singer Mariah Carey’s sister Alison has been arrested for soliciting money in exchange for sexual favours.
The 46-year-old’s sibling was detained in Saugerties, New York by an undercover officer who posed as a man paying for sex, reports dailymail.co.uk.
Alison was arrested after she advertised her services online and used lyrics from Carey’s hits to lure customers.

“I’m a pretty lady looking for guys who are looking to have some fun and get into a world of pleasure that other woman just can’t provide you,” read an ad from Alison.
It included lyrics from Carey’s 1995 hit ‘Fantasy’: “But it’s just a sweet sweet fantasy baby, when I close my eyes, you come and you take me, it’s so deep in my daydreams, but it’s just a sweet, sweet fantasy baby.”
Alison is locked up in Ulster County Jail and is due in court on Tuesday, with her bail set at $1,000.
Saugerties Police Chief Joseph Sinagra has advised anyone who has been in contact with her to seek medical advice, “particularly if it was unprotected”.
