NEW DELHI: Indians all over the world have been asked to give suggestions or questions for a special edition of the monthly ‘Mann ki Baat’ on All India Radio this month.
The edition is special as it will feature both, Prime Minister Narendra Modi and visiting American President Barack Obama.
The broadcast on the evening of 27 January is expected to be simulcast by all major television channels including DD News.

It is also expected to be carried on CNN simultaneously.
Confirming this, AIR sources told Radioandmusic.com that the time of broadcast had not been fixed and will be announced later. Questions or suggestions can be sent to the government website.
On 4 October 2014, Modi announced that he will talk to the nation at least two Sundays every month via radio, since that was the only medium that reached everyone including the farmers.
In his first radio address titled ‘Mann Ki Baat’ on the occasion of Vijaya Dashami, he had called upon people to regularly send him their views through social media as he had received many constructive suggestions in the past few weeks. He has addressed issues related to the use of Khadi and affects of substance abuse.
During his visit to the US last year, Modi and Obama jointly penned an op-ed in the Washington Post.
In the past, private radio stations have run the show via AIR so there is a possibility that it would be carried on by the FM stations.
