Madonna cancels Australian concert

MUMBAI: Queen of pop Madonna has cancelled the Australian leg of her ongoing promotional world tour for her latest album MDNA.

The concert would have seen Madonna performing in the Australian sub-continent for the first time in 20 years. Madonna’s concert promoter Live Nation confirmed the cancellation ruling out extra dates on her MDNA world tour. The singer has instead added France into her itinerary and will perform a concert on 26 July at Olympia, Paris.

A spokesperson said, “Madonna’s tour will end in South America in December as planned. That’s all we can say.”

Her MDNA tour features the singer’s performances on tracks like ‘Girl Gone Wild’ and ‘Express Yourself’ amongst others.

Madonna will be performing concerts through Europe before her MDNA tour heads to South America in November.
