Madonna and Beyonce rumoured to perform at the Grammys

MUMBAI: Rumours are afloat that material girl Madonna and ‘Queen B’ Beyonce could most likely perform at the 56th Grammy Awards. According to reports, the two pop superstars are touted to be among some of the award show’s surprise moments.

Reports of the possible performances surfaced after producer of the Grammys- Ken Ehrlich refused to confirm or deny the stars’ involvement in the show. He said, “Let’s put it this way … we have a really great history that goes back to the early days of Destiny’s Child. “I love working with [Beyonce]. She’s incredible. She is so into what it is that she does and making sure that everybody who sees her walks away saying, ‘wow.’ ”

While Ehrlich’s comments have got everyone guessing whether or not they will see the ‘Run the World’ singer live in action, it is expected that Madonna will lend her vocals for a guest performance with an unspecified nominee of the night.

There is no doubting that the addition of Madonna and Beyonce will make the Grammys a more glamorous affair. The show is already set to feature some big performances by a number of acts including Daft Punk, Imagine Dragons, Stevie Wonder, Sir Paul McCartney, Taylor Swift, P!nk, Robin Thicke, Macklemore & Ryan Lewis, Lorde, Katy Perry and many more.

The Grammy Awards will be held on 26 January at the Staples Centre in Los Angeles.
